2024 SUMMIT BID: Gear

2024 SUMMIT BID: Gear

We’re proud to be bringing back The Summit Bid silent auction! Win big on experiences, art and gear while supporting the future of our outdoor leaders. This year’s auction will raise money to support ACC Sustainable Energy Projects and ACMG’s Simon Parboosingh Fund. Browse the gear contributors below to learn more about them.

Gear

It’s undeniable that good gear will help boost the enjoyment of an outdoor experience – the further you get out there the more important it becomes!

We’ve gathered a variety of gear that’ll get you outside with confidence and we’re proud to highlight these supporters for the Summit Bid.

Ultra-durable coolers, drinkware and bags are the pinnacle of performance and built for every-day use.

Gear the gear that performs when it matters most.

ACC + MLP Repeat Photography Challenge

The amazing Mountain Legacy Project collects and compares photos to historic ones taken during surveys in the early 1900s to document the landscape differences over the course of a century. Help bring history into focus with the Mountain Legacy Project by recreating century-old mountain survey photos. If you’re hiking or climbing in one of nine select locations this summer, you can contribute by capturing aligned modern shots. Selected contributors will receive an ACC prize pack and have their images featured at the Summit Shaker this October.

In 25 local sections across Canada, all year round, members of the ACC climb, ski, hike, go to the gym, clean up crags, build trails, and gather for social events. From St. John’s to Vancouver Island to the Yukon, thousand of club outings are run by volunteers each year.
Pulling from the 2024 ACC Gazette, these stories are from our club members, in their own words, about an aspect of their section that is special to them.
