Mountain Hardwear sponsors the ACC’s flagship mountain adventure: the annual General Mountaineering Camp (GMC). Every summer at the GMC participants climb, explore, learn, and share experiences in a new mountain wilderness setting. And stay dry in Mountain Hardwear tents.

The North Face Canada is the sponsor of the ACC’s Leadership Development Program. These training courses help develop the club’s amateur leaders across the country who have demonstrated commitment to leading trips and outings for their local sections. Through this program, The North Face has played an enormous role in making climbing and skiing trips happen at our 25 sections across the country.

Rab Canada is the exclusive sponsor of the ACC’s backcountry hut system. Huts play an important role in reducing our environmental impact, they facilitate newcomers to backcountry travel, and are the scene of some of the most impactful moments in people’s lives in all seasons. The ACC hut network is moving forward with additional renewable energy systems, modern online reservations, and an increasing role in the future of the ACC. We thank Rab for their support.

Alberta Sport Connection supports the Alberta Sections of the Alpine Club of Canada through annual financial grants. Alberta Sport Connection funding is used to encourage an active healthy lifestyle for Albertans and to promote recreational use of Alberta’s natural playground.
