Trip Schedule

Outings are offered year round and include day hikes in the local hills, multi-day trips on wild Vancouver Island mountains, week-long summer and ski camps in the Coast Range or Rocky Mountains and ever so much more…

We offer courses and workshops such as crevasse rescue, ski clinics, avalanche awareness, wilderness first aid, leadership skills and more.

Our section features a “Kids and Youth” and “Trail-Rider” programs.

In the summer months the section is very active in rock climbing, running a weekly session at the Rock Gardens for fun and teaching. There are also opportunities for weekend rock climbing outings.

In the winter, members keep busy with ski mountaineering and ice climbing trips, many of which teach skills to new members. Regular climbing evenings are held at Equinox climbing gym.

We offer trips and courses for all skill levels, from novice to expert.
