Lisa’s passion for the mountains ignited at a young age, skiing the slopes of Lake Louise. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Renewable Resource Management, she dedicated her career to protecting visitors and preserving the wilderness. With over three decades of experience as an Avalanche Forecaster and senior Visitor Safety Rescue Specialist for Parks Canada, Lisa has worked in some of Canada’s most iconic national parks. Lisa is a certified ACMG Mountain Guide. While she enjoys guiding clients through stunning mountain landscapes, she is equally passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise. She enjoys teaching avalanche safety, mountain travel, and rescue courses. Recently, she helped to develop the new AvSAR Level 1 and 2 professional level courses for the Canadian Avalanche Association.

When not on duty, Lisa cherishes spending time with her family.
