Experience hands-on adventure

Trip Description

This course offers participants a chance to experience the Bow Valley from a new perspective. This assisted climbing experience uses metal cables, iron rungs, and ladders fixed to rock surfaces, allowing you to explore breathtaking mountain terrain safely and confidently. Led by ACMG certified guide Brent Peters, who developed these routes, you’ll enjoy the exclusive opportunity to be among the first climbers to experience these newly established courses while receiving expert instruction from a local professional.

Perfect for beginners, this half-day program requires no previous via ferrata experience and focuses on building your confidence with the equipment and essential movement techniques. Participants should have enough fitness to ascend vertical walls while carrying a pack. This introductory adventure serves as an excellent foundation for those interested in eventually progressing to our more advanced Full Day Via Ferrata Program.

Group gear will be provided, but participants will be responsible for their own transportation, lunch & snacks, water as well as personal items listed on the gear list.
