Corporate Partners

This page is dedicated to all of the ACC’s outstanding corporate partners who support our club in so many ways. Without the support of these companies, the ACC could not run the programs we do or have the success we’ve had. We thank them sincerely for their support.

For information on becoming a partner of the ACC, please contact the ACC’s Marketing Manager.

MEC is a long-standing partner of the ACC and proudly sponsors many of the Club’s programs including our Facilities and Mountain Culture projects as well as Climbing Escalade Canada. MEC is devoted to inspiring and enabling Canadians to pursue mountain adventure and shares the ACC’s commitment to protecting and enhancing recreation access and promoting safe and responsible use of the outdoors.

The North Face (Canada) has sponsored the ACC’s Leadership Program for almost 20 years. These outstanding training courses are designed for the club’s amateur leaders who have demonstrated commitment to leading trips and outings for their local sections. Through this program, The North Face has played an enormous role in making climbing and skiing trips happen at all of our sections across the country.

Arc'Teryx has sponsored the ACC’s Mountaineering Program since 2007. Our First Summits courses have served as a introduction to mountaineering for hundreds of ACC members and have launched many into a lifetime of mountain adventures. Our Classic Peaks and 55+ Mountaineering Camps continue to challenge new and experienced mountaineers. We are very proud to partner with Arc’teryx.

Smartwool has sponsored the various ACC programming and provided our staff and camp participants with comfy wool pieces that fend off the scent from a hard day outside. The Smartwool community is a collection of people who believe that time outside is valuable, restorative, and essential for everyone. We're proud to partner with a brand with a shared vision.

Mountain Hardwear sponsors the ACC’s flagship mountain adventure: the General Mountaineering Camp (GMC). Every summer at the GMC participants climb, explore, learn and share experiences in a new mountain wilderness setting. And stay dry in Mountain Hardwear tents.

Marmot has supported the ACC’s Women’s Program since its inception. The intent of our women’s climbing and skiing camps is to provide opportunities for women to share backcountry experiences, build leading skills and gain mountaineering experience in an all-women setting. Our Women’s Program is one of our most successful and we are grateful for Marmot’s sponsorship.

Osprey is the Official Pack Partner of the ACC and we thank them for their help with carrying our many loads. The ACC's Girls on Ice Canada science expedition for young women uses exclusively Osprey packs and our hut maintenance team transports tools and gear to remote huts in burly Osprey duffels. Volunteer leaders at our 24 regional sections have access to Osprey packs when teaching and leading our members.

We are proud to name Petzl as the ACC’s Official Supplier of Safety Equipment. Petzl provides discounts on safety gear for our 24 local sections and their climbing, hiking and skiing programs as well as gear for the national club’s guided summer and winter adventures. We use exclusively Petzl ropes on all of our climbing and glacier adventures.

Tecnica is the sponsor of the ACC’s Trekking Program, including all of our backpacking guided trips in the Canadian mountains. Tecnica provides a discount on their Custom Adaptive Shape Forge and Plasma hiking boot and shoe to participants of the ACC’s Trekking Program camps as well as to volunteer trip leaders in our 24 local sections across Canada.

Globalstar is the Official Satellite Communications Provider of the ACC. Our guided camps, hut custodians and Facilities Maintenance Team all use the Spot X 2-Way Satellite Messenger when they are outside of cellular range to stay connected to our office or in the case of emergencies. Globalstar also provides a discount on the Spot X for volunteer trip leaders in our 24 local sections across Canada.
