MEC is a long-standing partner of the ACC and proudly sponsors many of the Club’s programs including our Facilities and Mountain Culture projects as well as Climbing Escalade Canada. MEC is devoted to inspiring and enabling Canadians to pursue mountain adventure and shares the ACC’s commitment to protecting and enhancing recreation access and promoting safe and responsible use of the outdoors.

The North Face (Canada) has sponsored the ACC’s Leadership Program for almost 20 years. These outstanding training courses are designed for the club’s amateur leaders who have demonstrated commitment to leading trips and outings for their local sections. Through this program, The North Face has played an enormous role in making climbing and skiing trips happen at all of our sections across the country.

Arc'Teryx has sponsored the ACC’s Mountaineering Program since 2007. Our First Summits courses have served as a introduction to mountaineering for hundreds of ACC members and have launched many into a lifetime of mountain adventures. Our Classic Peaks and 55+ Mountaineering Camps continue to challenge new and experienced mountaineers. We are very proud to partner with Arc’teryx.

Smartwool has sponsored the various ACC programming and provided our staff and camp participants with comfy wool pieces that fend off the scent from a hard day outside. The Smartwool community is a collection of people who believe that time outside is valuable, restorative, and essential for everyone. We're proud to partner with a brand with a shared vision.

Mountain Hardwear sponsors the ACC’s flagship mountain adventure: the General Mountaineering Camp (GMC). Every summer at the GMC participants climb, explore, learn and share experiences in a new mountain wilderness setting. And stay dry in Mountain Hardwear tents.

We are proud to name Petzl as the ACC’s Official Rope Partner. Petzl provides discounts for the national club's guided camps and for our 24 local sections and their climbing programs. We use exclusively Petzl ropes on all of our climbing and glacier adventures.

Supporters ($5,000+)

Alberta Sport Connection (formerly known as Alberta Sports Recreation Parks and Wildlife Foundation) supports the Alberta Sections of the Alpine Club of Canada by providing a financial grant each year. The purpose of the funding is to encourage an active healthy lifestyle for Albertans and to promote recreational use of Alberta’s natural playground. We are very grateful for this support.
