Postage Stamp Release
Canada Post will release the ACC Mountaineering Stamp in dedication to the ACC Centennial on July 19. Please join us at in Canmore, Alberta in the Civic Centre between 5:00-7:00 pm for the unveiling of the ACC Centennial Mountaineering Stamp. The ACC Centennial Postage Stamp will have a Day of Issue cancellation for serious collectors.

The ACC Slideshow presented by Bob Sandford, as well as the Elizabeth Parker Play presented by Parks Canada will follow the unveiling of the ACC’s Centennial Postage Stamp.

Opening of the Heritage Room at the Canmore Clubhouse. The Heritage Room will reflect the social history of the first 100 years of the ACC.

Centennial Dinner at the Banff Park Lodge, Banff. Come join John Wheeler, the grandson of our founder A.O. Wheeler, who as the patron of the of the Centennial Dinner will extend greeting to some of the 60-80 foreign alpine federation presidents from around the world who will be attending the UIAA meeting.
